Food Journal for Tuesday, April 17, 2007

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs w/salt; 2 slices WW toast (homemade bread); Purple Grapes

Snack: None

Lunch: 1/2 Avocado w/salt; Asparagus w/salt and butter; 1/4 PB & honey sandwich on WW; 1 slice WW toast

Snack: Purple Grapes; 33 g Nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, brazil nuts)

Dinner: small bowl of Hawaiian Haystacks (basmati rice, cheese, chicken in white sauce (non-dairy), a few chinese noodles, cucumber chunks, pineapple chunks, raisins, craisins; med. Green salad with cucumbers and ranch

Exercise: Back exercises (morning); Walk around neighborhood (morning)

Feelings: I woke up pretty tired today. I just couldn't sleep comfortably and therefore didn't sleep very well. I was tired through most of the day. I think it's probably because I need to eat more good stuff. I didn't really feel like doing much until tonight when I had a cleaning spree throughout the house. It was mainly picking up all the toys and such around the house, but I'm such a perfectionist I was constantly going back and forth putting things away here and there. I had to fight an impulse to eat little bites of rice after it was cooked. I've been so good, but I realized it too late once when I picked some up in my fingers when I didn't need it. It helps me to be more conscious of what I do though.

I'm going to change my posts a little. I need to add my water goals; what vitamins I take; and the serving amounts of fruits, veggies, protein, fats, and carbs. Hopefully I'll be able to at least get the water, fruits, and veggies tracked. I finally remembered to take my prenatal vitamins right after dinner. When I remember to take them it's usually at bedtime after my food has been digesting for a while, and I don't want to get an upset stomach.
